Shambhala Art is art that springs from clear perception and pure expression.  Shambhala Art is based on the Dharma Art teachings of the late Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, the founder of Shambhala Buddhism, Shambhala International, and Naropa Institute.  He was an artist, poet, and author of over a dozen books on subjects ranging from psychology to iconography, including two books on the Dharma Art teachings: Dharma Art and The Art of Calligraphy. The International Shambhala Art Program is a division of Shambhala International and a non-profit arts education program presided over by his son and heir, Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche.  The program is taught by trained and authorized Shambhala Art teachers.
